EY External Security Vetting Senior Analyst

 

 

The opportunity

 

EY is seeking an experienced External Security Vetting Senior Analyst to support the delivery of complex Australian Government security clearance processes.

 

This role is ideally suited to professionals with demonstrated experience in external personnel security vetting, a current Certificate IV in Government (Personnel Vetting), and a minimum Negative Vetting Level 1 (NV1) security clearance. You will play a critical role in assessing security clearance cases and providing quality assurance across a range of clearance levels including Baseline, NV1, NV2 and Positive Vetting.

 

Your key responsibilities

 

As a Senior Analyst, you will leverage your security vetting expertise to assess complex clearance cases, conduct quality assurance activities and provide recommendations on security clearance outcomes.

 

Key responsibilities include:

Skills and attributes for success  

 

  • Strong understanding of Australian Government personnel security vetting frameworks and processes.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to assess large volumes of information accurately.
  • Demonstrated ability to exercise sound judgement in complex or sensitive vetting matters.
  • Proven quality assurance experience, ensuring compliance with PSPF requirements and organisational standards.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet SLAs.

 

Crucially, you’ll also have the skills and attributes below.
