What you'll do
- Perform routine welding operations of a repetitive and non-repetitive nature on standard and near-standard assemblies.
- Assist other operators in their work as directed/required.
- Perform welding from manufacturing information, bills of material, written and/or oral instructions.
- Operate equipment/machinery to produce parts.
- Interpret work orders including: written oral, Kanban cards, and drawings.
- Maintain necessary tools and materials for continuous operation.
- Inspect final component against work specifications.
- Perform necessary operator maintenance on machining and fabrication equipment.
- Provide on-the-job training for new operators.
- Perform TPM and 5S+ responsibilities daily.
- Pick up and place scrap in appropriate containers.

Eaton’s ES AMER ARS PDCAD division is currently seeking a FAB Welder - 2nd Shift.
The hourly rate for this position is $22.00 per hour.

What you’ll do:
The FAB Welder will perform routine welding operations of a repetitive and non-repetitive nature on standard and near-standard assemblies. Assist other operators in their work as directed/required.
In this function you will:
A. Perform welding from manufacturing information, bills of material, written and/or oral instructions.
B. Operate equipment/machinery to produce parts.
C. Interpret work orders including: written oral, Kanban cards, and drawings.
D. Maintain necessary tools and materials for continuous operation.
E. Inspect final component against work specifications.
F. Perform necessary operator maintenance on machining and fabrication equipment.
G. Provide on-the-job training for new operators.
H. Perform TPM and 5S+ responsibilities daily.
I. Pick up and place scrap in appropriate containers.
Qualifications:
Required (Basic) Qualifications:
• High School Diploma or GED (General Education Degree) from an accredited institution is required.

Preferred Qualifications:
• Previous experience reading calipers and tape measures/scales
• Previous experience reading blueprints
• Previous experience in Fabrication
Position Criteria:
• Able to lift 35 pounds – waist, shoulder, overhead
• Proven history of safe work habits
• Must be able to work effectively without direct supervision
• Computer skills – Microsoft Office, Internet, etc.
• Must be able to work overtime – weekdays and weekends
