What you'll do
- Responsible for the general maintenance, repair, safety, and upkeep of Youth Homes’ therapeutic group homes, offices, and other organizational properties.
- Provides preventive and routine maintenance to ensure facilities are safe, functional, well-maintained, and in compliance with applicable organizational, licensing, and safety requirements.
- Responsible for grounds maintenance, snow removal, basic vehicle and equipment maintenance, and coordination with outside contractors and service providers.

- Ability to determine when repairs require a licensed or specialized contractor.

Facilities Maintenance Technician (Part Time) 20 hours a week
The Facilities Maintenance Technician is responsible for the general maintenance, repair, safety, and upkeep of Youth Homes’ therapeutic group homes, offices, and other organizational properties. The position provides preventive and routine maintenance to ensure facilities are safe, functional, well-maintained, and in compliance with applicable organizational, licensing, and safety requirements. The position is also responsible for grounds maintenance, snow removal, basic vehicle and equipment maintenance, and coordination with outside contractors and service providers.
Education, Skills and Licensing Requirements:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- A valid Montana Driver’s License and insurable on the Youth Homes auto insurance
- Two years relevant experience in facilities and building maintenance, property management or related field preferred.
- Experience maintaining multiple residential or commercial properties preferred.
- Knowledge of general building maintenance and repair.
