Facilities Manager

Our client is currently looking for a Facilities Manager, based near Cheltenham, Gloucestershire GL51 8NN. The Facilities Manager will be working Monday to Friday 8:30am till 5pm, offering up to £35k per annum. The job is temporary with a possibility of going permanent. JOB DUTIES The Facilities Manager job will involve the following: The Facilities Manager will be responsible for planning maintenance and overseeing projects within the facility. The Facilities Manager will manage in-house facility services and oversee general maintenance. The Facilities Manager will manage cleaning and housekeeping services and control cleaning budgets. The Facilities Manager will manage maintenance or service requirements and monitor the performance of contractors. The Facilities Manager will be responsible for ensuring that all statutory inspections and remedial works are carried out promptly. The Facilities Manager will carry out method statements, risk assessments and operating procedures within facilities areas and manage day- to- day Health and Safety. JOB REQUIREMENTS The ideal Facilities Manager will have previous facilities management experience and knowledge of building and contract management. The Facilities Manager will Coordinating reactive and planned maintenance The Facilities Manager will Ensuring site compliant in-line with CAFM system The Facilities Manager will schedule work with contractors The Facilities Manager will assess /diagnosing M & E failures to accurately escalate as required.
