SLEEGERS Engineered Products Inc. is a leading North American supplier of engineered solutions for the pressure vessel and propane industries. We design and manufacture a variety of engineered products including propane motor fuel tanks, commercial and industrial pressure vessels, and automated propane cylinder vending kiosks.

 

Founded in 1963 and based in London, Ontario, we are proud to employ a diverse team of highly skilled welding and engineering professionals. Our 147,000 square foot production facility boasts a state-of-the-art air quality and ventilation system including air purifiers, ten skylights, strategically placed ceiling fans, top of the line welding machines and helmets and high efficiency LED lighting throughout the production floor.

 

The Opportunity

 

We are actively recruiting for an existing vacancy and are looking for a motivated individual to join our team in a Facility Support role. The ideal candidate will play a key role in facility, building and operation maintenance including repairs and janitorial duties to ensure safe, clean and effective operations. Core Responsibilities

• Support general facility maintenance which may include recycling, HVAC, plumbing and building systems
• Perform facility upkeep; including cleaning, waste and recycling handling
• Operate motorized vehicles and equipment
• Collaborate with team members to solve problems and meet project deadlines
• Follow all safety protocols and contribute to a culture of safety and accountability
• Other duties as assigned

The Ideal Candidate

 

• Previous facility and building maintenance experience
• Experience in a manufacturing or production environment preferred
• Previous experience operating a forklift
• Mechanical mindset and abilities
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety
• Strong work ethic and reliability
• Problem-solving mindset and adaptability

• Regular, full-time employment status, paid biweekly
• The expected compensation range for this position is between $21.00-$24.00 per hour, based on experience and qualifications
