- Develop a deep understanding of client business objectives, financial operations, and strategic priorities.

The mission of the client service delivery team at SMX is to create and deploy innovative products to our federal customers. The CFO Control Tower Budget and Spend (BAS) solution is a planning and reporting solution that has been pre-built for the federal government and runs on SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC). This is a unique and exciting role that allows the right candidate to use their deep understanding of federal budgeting and planning processes to help build our next generation planning application. We are looking for an energetic and creative federal financial business analyst to take our solution to the next level and drive value for our federal customers. You will be working alongside a talented team of designers, developers and budget SMEs to help build, enhance, and roll out our best-in-class solution. This is a full-time position that is 100% remote and will require minimal travel <20% and a Public Trust clearance.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
As a Junior Federal Financial Business Analyst, you will work at the intersection of financial management, business processes, data analytics, and technology. You will partner directly with government stakeholders to analyze complex financial and operational data, improve business processes, develop actionable insights, and support strategic decision-making through data-driven solutions.
