Field Regional Installer

Field Regional Installer | Cambridgeshire | Full Time | £28,571.40 per annum + London weighting where applicable

Our client is looking for a Field Regional Installer to support the installation of Point of Sale and Retail Display equipment across an allocated region. The role involves travelling extensively between multiple retail stores, working closely with project teams, clients and customers to ensure installations are completed successfully.

The Role

Working Monday to Friday during day shifts and within your allocated region, you will be responsible for installing Point of Sale and Retail Display equipment in line with installation briefs and training provided.

You will cover an allocated regional area, with the role suited to candidates based in Cambridgeshire and the surrounding areas, including CB2, CM23, CM7 and CB9.

You will build units using build guides, follow the daily schedule set by the project team and manage your van, van stock and local distribution hub stock levels.

You will also be responsible for providing supporting evidence for completed installations, including photographs uploaded online, while maintaining regular communication with the office-based project team and Regional Field Manager.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out start and end of day vehicle checks in line with H&S requirements
• Report vehicle or maintenance issues and adhere to risk assessments, method statements and driving regulations
• Maintain a smart appearance while in store, wearing the company-issued uniform
• Maintain a clean and well-presented vehicle at all times
• Follow daily and weekly work schedules unless changes are agreed with the Project Team in advance
• Install and build Point of Sale and Retail Display equipment in retail outlets
• Handball stock from the van into stores and remove waste for disposal
• Use the company’s bespoke app to record completion and sign-off of daily jobs
• Complete bi-weekly stock takes to ensure van and distribution hub stock is accurately maintained
• Manage the distribution hub location where stock is delivered and returned
• Manage daily van stock levels to ensure the correct stock is available for scheduled work
• Liaise regularly with the line manager and project teams to ensure successful completion of assigned jobs
• Provide supporting evidence for each installation, including photographs, through online uploads

What We’re Looking For

• Full clean UK manual driving licence held for a minimum of 1 year
• Confidence in safely driving a van
• High level of general DIY, maintenance and joinery skills
• Excellent communication skills when dealing with project teams, clients and customers
• Proactive attitude and good problem-solving skills
• Good geographical awareness
• Flexibility with working hours
