As a self-employed Field Sales Consultant with SumUp, you will develop your own territory, win new business and build a portfolio of local merchants with the backing of one of the world’s leading fintech brands.

You can earn upfront commission from the businesses you bring onboard while building recurring monthly income from your merchant portfolio.

Your Earning Potential

Our commission structure allows you to earn across several revenue streams:

• Payments: 50% of annualised payments net revenue

• Hardware: 50% of hardware revenue

• Software: 50% of annual software revenue

• Residual income: 25% of SumUp net revenue, paid monthly for up to five years

New Partners also receive three times their usual residual earnings during their first three months while building their portfolio.

Additional milestone bonuses are also available.

Under the current commission plan, a qualifying deal can generate up to €1,344 in upfront commission plus €315 in annual residual income.

Top-performing Field Sales Consultants can generate €7,000–€10,000+ per month.

This is a self-employed, commission-only sales opportunity with no basic salary. Earnings are uncapped and will depend on your individual sales performance.

What You’ll Be Doing

The most successful Field Sales Consultants create their own opportunities and take ownership of their territory.

You will:

• Prospect local SMEs through face-to-face visits, door-to-door sales and outbound activity

• Build strong relationships with local business owners

• Sell SumUp’s payment, card-processing, hardware, POS and software solutions

• Generate new business and manage your own sales pipeline

• Take merchants from the first conversation through to onboarding

• Develop referrals and build your own customer portfolio

• Plan your activity and manage your territory effectively

Who We’re Looking For

We are looking for people with a genuine hunter mentality and an entrepreneurial approach to sales.

Relevant experience may include:

• B2B new business sales

• Field sales or direct sales

• Door-to-door sales

• Payments, card processing or merchant services

• POS or EPOS systems

• Telecoms

• Energy

• Technology sales

• Other target-driven sales environments

Previous field sales experience is beneficial, but your mindset matters most.

You should be comfortable approaching businesses, creating your own opportunities, handling rejection and closing new business.

Training and Support

You will receive structured onboarding and ongoing support covering:

• Product knowledge

• Sales conversations and demonstrations

• Territory planning

• Prospecting and lead generation

• Objection handling

• Pipeline management

• Merchant onboarding
