About the role

We are currently looking for a customer focused Field Service Engineer to join our ACT team.

The successful candidates will be responsible for the installation and support of print equipment and ancillary products with associated software & services solutions. As a member of the ACT Service Team, you will ensure customer satisfaction through on-site corrective and preventative maintenance on customer equipment. These role works within a team of dedicated technicians and reports directly to the State Service Delivery Manager.

Previous experience in the Print Production industry is highly desirable and will be looked upon favourably, although not essential for the right candidate in a similar industry looking to start their career in a hands-on technical role with fantastic learning and development opportunities.

Ideal Candidate

To be qualified for these positions, ideally, your background and skills will comprise of the following:

• Strong technical aptitude, troubleshooting skills and professional approach, as well as a positive attitude in dealing with customers, are essential attributes for this role.

• A keen desire to learn and apply new skills will be encouraged in the Konica Minolta environment that fosters continuous employee development.
• Applicants must possess a strong mechanical/electrical aptitude, along with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A proven track record of excellent customer service, ensuring to go above and beyond
• Ability to work autonomously, whilst keeping in contact with your team to ensure workload is consistent and transparent.

What we're looking for

• Demonstrated experience a similar role and/or network, IT and technical knowledge/understanding
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Strong customer service skills
• Excellent organisation and time management skills
• Driver’s License and Working with Vulnerable People Check
• Australian citizenship
• Ability to undergo Police Check
• Ability to obtain AGSVA clearance, existing clearance preferred
