Job Description

We are currently seeking a Field Service Technician to join our commercial sales team of skilled professionals in Calgary, Canada.

 

Position Overview:

 

The successful candidate will be responsible for promoting IKO Commercial Roofing and Building Envelope products to the Contracting Community. Also, responding to both internal and external customer inquiries on technical issues relating to commercial roofing and building envelope. This position will be based out of the Calgary area but will require some travel within Southern Alberta.

WHEN YOU JOIN US, YOU WILL:

  • Liaise with the commercial contracting community and perform quality assurance inspections of ongoing and completed sites.
  • Prepare and conduct both theory and hands-on commercial product training for existing and potential Registered Contractors.
  • Liaise with the contracting community and distribution network on product promotion and theory education.
  • Produce written inspection and quality assurance reports for internal and external customers.
  • Attend and participate in related association events to promote IKO Commercial products.

 

 OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE

  • Experience with the application of commercial roofing products is a must.
  • Experience with the application of building envelope products is an asset.
  • Roofing, Construction Technology or Construction degree is an asset.
  • Experience with quality assurance inspections is an asset.
  • Excellent and communication and presentation skills.
  • Must have a solid understanding and proficiently use MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to climb a ladder.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Must have a solid understanding and proficiently use MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

  • Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks while working independently.
    We are currently seeking a Field Service Technician to join our commercial sales team of skilled professionals in Calgary, Canada.

WORK AUTHORIZATION AND TRAVEL:

  • Up to 80% travel may be required.
