About the role

The Field Service Technician III is responsible for the clean-up and transportation of Hazardous and Non-Hazardous waste. Field Service Technician III is expected to perform various tasks including but not limited to loading and unloading tanks and tankers with bulk liquids, complete inspection of equipment, hoses and connections as well as perform confined space entry. The Field Service Technician III main function is to provide supervision and labor resources on Field Service projects. 

 

Field Service Tech III Main Responsibilities: 

  • Oversee the daily workflow of the Field Service Technicians. 

  • Leads the field service technicians and performs labor intensive activities in all weather conditions throughout the day 

  • Communicate throughout the course of the project with the Operations Manager for each project.  

  • Mentors, trains, and develop Field Service technicians. 

  • Operate a variety of equipment, including but not limited to pressure washers, hand trucks, forklifts, and power tools, with minimal supervision in compliance with company policies, procedures, and OSHA requirements.  

  • Drive trucks and trailers as needed.  

  • Operate forklifts, skid loaders, specialty vacuum equipment, and other machinery to perform work related to chemical, oil, and water spill response.  

  • Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport waste to designated locations while meeting scheduled appointments and complying with all DOT regulations.  

  • Inspect truck equipment and supplies (e.g., tires, lights, brakes, fuel, oil, and water) and secure cargo before and during transport.  

  • Removes materials from tanks, pits, or trenches with hand tools 

  • Performs cleaning duties utilizing an industrial pressure washer  

  • Ability to develop job scope along with site visits to prepare scope. 

  • Capable of running larger projects and possible hazard jobs.  

  • Full understanding of Field Service 

  • Ability to complete all paperwork, permits, & use of Field Service App 

  • Identify and uphold acceptable standards of work quality.  

  • Perform final tank cleaning using pressure washers without causing surface damage.  

  • Apply proper procedures for chemical handling in accordance with safety and regulatory requirements.  

  • Lead teams on small, confined space projects, maintaining clear communication with managers and onsite customers both verbally and electronically.  

  • Complete required documentation, including manifests and driver logs.  

  • Perform daily work involving confined space entry, mechanical tasks, industrial hygiene instrumentation, pneumatic tools, electrical tools, and other equipment as needed.  

  • Represent Reworld professionally while working independently at customer sites.  

  • Remove materials from tanks, pits, and trenches using hand tools.  

  • Work in confined spaces above or below ground and on or under equipment.  

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.  

  • Perform other duties as assigned.  

  • 24/7 on call for Emergency Response. 

 

Required Qualifications 

  • 3+ years’ experience or has completed all Technician I Reworld training 

  • Valid Driver’s License and acceptable driving record 

  • Regional overnight travel, at home daily or combination of both regional and at home daily 

  • CDL A, B or C License may be required depending on the equipment used 

  • Endorsement (T) Tanker or (X) Hazmat  

  • Complies with OSHA Health and Safety Rules and completes required training provided by Reworld. 

  • High School Diploma or GED. 

 

Physical Demands of the Role 

  • Ability to walk, stand, sit, and climb  

  • Ability to lift/carry 50lbs  

  • Ability to work from heights and in confined spaces  

  • Qualify to wear a full-face respirator���  

  • Consistently work in various weather conditions

Pay Transparency


Reworld is committed to paying its staff equitably, and we strive to provide competitive compensation and benefits packages. The range below reflects Reworld’s reasonable estimate of base pay for this role based on primary posting location. It is expected that most qualified candidates in this location will fall within the posting range. The final salary offered for this role will be determined based on factors including, but not limited to: experience, education, geographic location, skills and competencies, travel requirements and/or union contracts (if applicable). Pay ranges are reviewed from time to time and may be modified in the future.

  

The pay range for the primary location of this position is: 22.60 - 30.05 USD per hour
