Finance Business Analyst - Transformation Meetings & Events (M&E)

FCM Meetings & Events (M&E) is embarking on one of its most ambitious global transformation programmes - The M&E Single Operating Model (SOM). This multi-market initiative will introduce a consistent technology and process framework across our global business, enabling greater efficiency, scalability and collaboration.

Working closely with regional finance teams, corporate stakeholders and external partners, you’ll bring structure to complex initiatives and ensure our finance solutions are practical, sustainable and aligned to business needs.

Based in Australia, the UK or Europe, this role requires flexibility to support a global team and occasional domestic and international travel.

 

Responsibilities:

• Support finance transformation and process standardisation across global markets.
• Support the Dynamics 365 and Qondor system rollout, including data and integration activities.
• Analyse and improve finance processes, workflows and controls.
• Coordinate project plans, actions, risks and deliverables.
• Support tax, reconciliation and finance configuration activities ahead of market go-lives.
• Build reporting, dashboards and business cases to track progress and benefits.
• Partner with regional teams, corporate stakeholders and external vendors to deliver outcomes.

 

Experience & Education:

• 3–5 years’ experience in finance transformation, business analysis or project coordination.
• Experience with finance systems, process improvement or operating model change.
• Strong understanding of transactional finance processes.
• Advanced Excel and Power BI skills.
• Experience with Dynamics 365 or other ERP systems is highly regarded.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or a related field preferred.
• CA/CPA qualification or progress towards qualification is desirable.
• Analytical, organised and solutions-focused.
• Confident working across teams, regions and time zones.
• Comfortable managing multiple priorities and driving work through to completion.
• Passionate about improving processes and using technology to create better ways of working.
