Job Title: Finance Executive Branch Name: Thanal Head Office Malaparamba Qualification: B.Com/M.com/CA Inter Experience : 4-5 Years Location: Malaparamba, Kozhikode Employment Type: Full time Department: Finance 1. Grant Fund Administration Manage financial transactions related to grant-funded projects. Ensure utilisation of funds strictly as per donor guidelines and project budgets. Track fund allocations, disbursements, and project-wise expenditure. 2. Budgeting & Financial Planning Assist in preparing project budgets, budget revisions, and cost projections. Monitor budget vs. actuals and highlight deviations to project heads. Support in developing financial plans for new grant proposals. 3. Donor Reporting & Compliance Prepare financial reports for donors as per specified formats and timelines. Ensure compliance with donor agreements, statutory norms, and organisational policies. Maintain all financial documentation required for donor audits and monitoring visits. 4. Accounting & Record Keeping Maintain project-wise accounting in accounting software (Tally/ERP). Process payments, invoices, purchase orders, and vendor bills related to grants. Manage bank reconciliations and maintain grant-wise ledgers. 5. Audit Support Coordinate with internal and external auditors for project audits. Ensure all vouchers, bills, and supporting documents are properly filed and available for review. Implement audit recommendations and improve documentation practices. 6. Coordination & Stakeholder Support Coordinate with project teams, vendors, and partner organisations for fund utilisation. Liaise with banks, government stakeholders, and donor agencies on financial matters. Support program teams by clarifying financial guidelines and processes. 7. Statutory Compliance Ensure accurate and timely compliance with GST, TDS, PF/ESI (if applicable), and other financial regulations. Maintain documentation for statutory audits. 8. Financial Monitoring & Control Monitor cost efficiency and ensure expenditures align with approved budgets. Review supporting documents for accuracy, relevance, and compliance. Identify financial risks and recommend corrective actions. Requirements Knowledge of grant accounting and fund management Proficiency in Tally/ERP and MS Excel Strong documentation and reporting skills Understanding of GST, TDS, and other statutory compliances Accuracy in financial data and record keeping Budgeting and variance analysis skills Good communication and coordination abilities Ability to meet deadlines and handle multiple projects High integrity and confidentiality in financial matters
