About this role
We are looking for a detail-oriented Finance Executive to manage financial records, ensure regulatory compliance, and support business operations through accurate accounting and financial reporting.
The ideal candidate should possess strong bookkeeping knowledge, experience in financial reconciliations, taxation, and reporting, along with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
About Us:
We are a fast-growing company operating across B2B, D2C, and B2C channels. The Finance Executive will be responsible for managing accounting activities across multiple revenue streams, ensuring accurate financial reporting, inventory accounting, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and compliance across all business segments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day accounting transactions and prepare budget forecasts.
- Handle monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closings and ensure timely publication of financial statements.
- Reconcile accounts payable and receivable and ensure timely bank payments.
- Compute taxes and prepare tax returns in compliance with applicable regulations.
- Maintain balance sheets, profit & loss statements, and other financial reports.
- Monitor and report on the company's financial health, cash flow, and liquidity.
- Audit financial transactions and supporting documentation.
- Ensure confidentiality of financial data and perform database backups when required.
- Ensure compliance with financial policies, procedures, and statutory regulations.
- Maintain accounting records related to B2B, D2C, and B2C business operations.
- Monitor revenue recognition, customer payments, vendor settlements, and inventory accounting across various sales channels.
- Ensure accurate accounting of e-commerce, marketplace, wholesale, and retail transactions.
- Work with US GAAP accounting principles and reporting requirements.
Qualifications & Skills:
- 0-2 years of experience in Accounting or Finance.
- Strong understanding of accounting regulations and procedures, including Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Hands-on experience with Tally, Zoho Books, FreshBooks, or similar ERP systems.
- Advanced MS Excel skills, including VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables, and financial analysis.
- Knowledge of general ledger accounting and financial reporting.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with high attention to detail.
- Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
- CPA, CMA, or equivalent certification will be an added advantage.
