What you'll do

  • Prepare and analyze required financial information to support Senior Director – Finance Operations ANZP for monthly performance review calls and adhere to deadlines submission to APEC office.
  • Work with concerned departments in relation to MI receivables related matters.
  • Review monthly MI receivables and coordinate collection time table with hotel’s Finance Leaders.
  • Monitor and establish effective internal control procedures.
  • Communicate regularly with hotel’s Finance Leaders on finance related matters to ensure consistent compliance with corporate policy.
  • Work closely with hotel’s Finance Leaders during monthly forecasting and annual budgeting process. Highlight the variance on budget versus actual result on regular basis and suggest/implement action plan to ensure budget/forecast is met.
  • Handle audits and taxation related issues by liaise with compliance team and internal tax department.
  • Able to work on all entity related compliance and reporting’s.
  • Submission of monthly and quarterly report required from APEC office timely.
  • Uses problem solving methodology for decision making and follow up.
  • Presents ideas, expectations, and information in a concise well-organized way.
  • Manage time well and possesses strong organizational skills.

CANDIDATE PROFILE 

Education and Experience 

  • Degree holder in Accounting and/or professional qualifications in Accounting (ACCA, CPA, CA)
  • At least 5 years of experience in similar Finance/Accounting role
  • Experience with accounting software such as Peoplesoft will be advantageous
