About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Finance Manager to join our finance team. The successful candidate will oversee the financial operations of the company, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in all accounting activities. The Finance Manager will play a key role in managing day-to-day accounting tasks, reconciling accounts, preparing financial reports, and supporting strategic financial planning initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Report directly to the Sr. VP in overseeing the daily operations of the accounting department, including accounts payable, Reconciliation, accounts receivable, general ledger, and financial reporting.
- Prepare and review financial statements, reports, and budgets to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
- Reconcile bank statements, accounts payable and receivable, and other financial accounts on a regular basis to maintain accuracy and integrity of financial data.
- Assist in the preparation of month-end and year-end closing activities, including journal entries, accruals, and adjustments.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure timely and accurate recording of financial transactions and proper allocation of expenses.
- Assist in the implementation and maintenance of accounting systems, processes, and controls to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and compliance.
- Conduct financial analysis and variance analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
- Assist in the preparation of tax returns, compliance filings, and other regulatory requirements as needed.
- Working on Interbrand transactions, TDS rates and sections.
- Working on transfer of GST and Interbrand GST calculations.
- Provide support during internal and external audits, including gathering documentation, answering inquiries, and resolving discrepancies.
- Advanced working Knowledge of TDS, Stake GST, Tally and B2C accounting
Key Skills & Requirements
- Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) is mandatory.
- Need 3+ years of experience in accounting or finance roles, with progressively increasing levels of responsibility.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret financial data, identify trends, and make recommendations.
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail in financial record-keeping and reporting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment, meeting deadlines with minimal supervision.
- Strong organizational skills with a proactive approach to identifying and addressing issues and opportunities.
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and integrity in handling sensitive financial information.
