Position Summary

The Finance Manager (Healthcare Analytics) serves as a strategic financial leader partnering closely with executive leadership, department leaders, and clinical leadership across City of Hope Chicago, including the Comprehensive Cancer and Research Center and regional outpatient care centers. This role is responsible for developing business cases, financial analyses, and strategic recommendations that support informed decision-making, operational efficiency, and achievement of organizational financial goals.

Job Responsibilities

Skills & Abilities

  • Proven experience managing projects from design through implementation using formal project management methodologies.

  • Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills with the ability to communicate complex financial information to diverse audiences.

  • Ability to manage competing priorities and multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Strong relationship-building skills with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Demonstrated flexibility and adaptability in achieving organizational objectives.

  • Advanced analytical and problem-solving abilities with a proven ability to translate data into actionable insights.

  • Strong business acumen and ability to support executive-level decision-making.

Technical Skills

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel required.

  • Experience with Tableau, EPSi, Qlik Sense, Epic, or similar business intelligence and data visualization tools required.

  • Experience with Strata Decision Technology financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and performance management tools preferred.
