About this role
Financial Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) – 16?Month FTC – Hybrid (North Notts)
£45,00–£55,000 | 2 days office / 3 remote | Flexible hours | Start Nov/Dec 2026
A large organisation is hiring a hands-on Financial Accountant to own business-as-usual financial accounting during a major finance systems transformation.
Key responsibilities
- Month-end close, balance sheet ownership & reconciliations
- Control accounts, general ledger integrity, variance investigation
- Statutory accounts, financial statements, audit-ready working papers
- External audit support
- Fixed assets accounting + IFRS 16
- Compliance support: VAT, Corporation Tax, PAYE/NI, P11Ds, PSA,
- Cash/banking and bank reconciliations
- Improve finance controls/processes during change
About you
- ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified
- Strong industry financial accounting experience
- Comfortable taking ownership and working to deadlines
- Able to commit to a 16 month fixed-term contract
- Happy attending site 2 days per week
