What you'll do
- Prepare monthly depreciation and lease accounting journals.
- Maintain fixed asset registers, including asset additions, disposals, and capitalisation of projects.
- Complete fixed asset balance sheet reconciliations.
- Review capital expenditure postings and ensure costs are recorded correctly.
- Assist with lease accounting requirements and related reporting.
- Prepare and post accurate journal entries to the general ledger.
- Review month-end results, identifying and correcting posting errors and investigating variances.
- Prepare detailed balance sheet reconciliations with clear supporting documentation.
- Investigate and resolve unexplained balance sheet items.
- Monitor and identify financial risks and issues arising within balance sheet accounts.
- Follow up and clear aged transactions and incorrect postings.
- Prepare financial reports and analysis for internal stakeholders.

About you
