What you'll do
- You are responsible for managing, controlling and overseeing the hotel’s financial administration.
- You ensure that the financial records are accurate, complete and up to date, providing a clear overview of the hotel’s financial position.
- You prepare periodic financial reports, annual figures, P&L statements and balance sheets.
- You analyze financial results, identify variances and translate your findings into clear insights and recommendations for management and ownership.
- You prepare management reports, forecasts and budgets and discuss the results with relevant stakeholders on a regular basis.
- You are responsible for cash management and cash forecasting.
- You manage and optimize the administrative organization and internal control processes.
- You create awareness around financial risks and contribute to a strong risk management culture within the organization.
- You manage the hotel’s insurance portfolio.
- You oversee project accounting and CAPEX-related activities.
- You prepare periodic tax returns and reports to relevant authorities, including CBS and the Chamber of Commerce.
- You monitor all applicable taxes and ensure that they are correctly calculated, recorded and paid on time.

- A bachelor’s or master’s degree in Finance & Accounting, Business Economics or a related field.
- Proven experience in a financial role within the hospitality industry, preferably in a hotel environment.
- A genuine passion for finance and a drive to continuously improve financial processes and performance.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook; experience with relevant financial systems is a plus.
- A strong eye for detail and a high level of accuracy when working with figures, reports and financial information.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to maintain structure and overview in a dynamic environment.
- The ability to work independently, think analytically and confidently provide professional advice.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence, negotiate and collaborate effectively.

Additional Information: This hotel is owned and operated by an independent franchisee, YTL Hotels & Properties (Manager Europe). The franchisee is a separate company and a separate employer from Marriott International, Inc. The franchisee solely controls all aspects of the hotel’s employment policies and practices, including hiring, firing, discipline, staffing, compensation, benefits, and all other terms and conditions of employment. If you accept a position at this hotel, you will be employed by a franchisee and not by Marriott International, Inc.
