What you'll do
- Actively participate in the preparation and analysis of monthly, quarterly, and annual consolidated financial statements, ensuring the accuracy and reliability of the data
- Analyze detailed financial results and explain variances between actual results and forecasts
- Produce management reports, analyses, and dashboards to support decision-making
- Collaborate with other departments to identify opportunities for cost reduction and process efficiency improvements
- Contribute to the structuring, analysis, and optimization of financial databases
- Develop and implement cost accounting methodologies aligned with industry best practices
- Ensure compliance with Canadian accounting standards (ASPE/IFRS) and company policies
- Support external audit processes by preparing audit schedules and providing required documentation
- Analyze, review, and resolve complex accounting discrepancies and issues
- Contribute to the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of accounting policies, internal controls, and processes
- Participate in the implementation and evolution of accounting and financial systems

- Accumulate 5 to 7 years of experience in a similar role or as a professional within accounting firms
- Show strong intellectual curiosity and excellent analytical and synthesis skills
- Be fluent in French and English, both spoken and written*
- Show advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Power BI
Nice to have
- Be a certified CPA (an asset)
