We are currently recruiting for a Financial Reporting Accountant position with a well-established and growing business in Bradford.
You’ll join an established finance team and play a key role in the preparation of accurate financial information, month-end reporting and statutory accounts, while working closely with colleagues across this global business.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone from an accountancy practice background, or a more technically minded accountant from industry, who wants to take ownership of a broad financial accounting role.
Key responsibilities will include;
- Preparing and reviewing monthly financial reporting
- Supporting month-end and year-end close
- Preparing balance sheet reconciliations and investigating variances
- Supporting statutory accounts and audit requirements
- Assisting with budgeting and forecasting
- Producing financial analysis and commentary
- Working with colleagues across the European finance function
- Supporting improvements to reporting, processes and controls
- Helping to ensure financial information is accurate, timely and commercially useful
Ideally you will be able to demonstrate the below qualifications/experience:
- ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified, or finalist
- Experienced in accounts preparation and/or audit within practice
- Comfortable working with financial statements and month-end processes
- Strong technically, with good attention to detail
- Confident using Excel and accounting systems
- Keen to develop and build a long-term career in industry
