Manager – Financial & Regulatory Reporting

Summary –We are looking for a qualified Finance professional with 6+ years of experience in Financial & Regulatory Reporting, with strong knowledge of US GAAP and STAT accounting principles. The role involves ownership of financial reporting, disclosures, state filings, surveys, and reporting processes, along with team leadership, stakeholder management, audit, compliance, and process improvement.

Responsibilities -

1. Ensure the timely and accurate delivery of financial reporting, GAAP/STAT disclosures, state filings, surveys, and other reporting requirements.
2. Take ownership of assigned processes, reports, procedures, and products, acting as a Subject Matter Expert with knowledge of cross-functional processes.
3. Partner in setting the team’s direction and assist in the overall running and management of team operations.
4. Lead and mentor junior team members, respond to Senior Reviewer/Approver queries, and ensure performance and service-level compliance.
5. Support performance reviews and audits, identify process improvement opportunities, drive efficiencies, enhance controls, and collaborate with peers and project resources as required.

Requirements -

1. CA/CPA/MBA/Post-Graduate/Graduate in Finance with 6+ years of experience in Financial Reporting.
2. Strong knowledge of US GAAP policies/principles, STAT accounting principles, accounting standards, financial reporting concepts, and other reporting requirements.
3. Experience with financial reporting applications such as Oracle BI, Essbase, and Workiva/Wdesk.
4. Strong knowledge of MS Office, including Excel and Word, with exposure to Power BI and ERP platforms such as Oracle.
5. Ability to work under tight deadlines, lead reporting closure timelines, manage stakeholder queries, mentor team members, and identify opportunities for process improvement and enhanced controls.
