Firefighter/Paramedic
Firefighter/Paramedics are responsible for providing fire suppression, rescue, and emergency medical services. They are expected to deliver Advanced Life Support (ALS) care on medical calls and to effectively assist with fire operations during emergencies.
- Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
- Respond to all fire and emergency medical calls, providing both firefighting and medical support.
- Administer ALS care (e.g., intubation, medication administration, advanced monitoring) on medical calls.
- Participate in firefighting operations, including suppression, search and rescue, and ventilation.
- Assist with vehicle extrication, hazardous materials response, and other technical rescue operations.
- Complete all necessary patient care documentation and reports.
