What you'll do

  • Assist the Law School Relations Team with organizing and attending on-campus events, including preparing and shipping materials for virtual and in-person events, maintaining 1L candidate pipeline, and compiling marketing materials
  • Assist the Law School Relations team and local office Legal Recruitment teams with all aspects of the On-Campus Interview (OCI) season, including interview preparation and execution, hiring committee meetings, statistical reporting and metrics, and interview scheduling
  • Assist the Law School Relations Team in carrying out 1L Fellowship programming, including organizing and reviewing candidate files, scheduling interviews, and preparing interview packets
  • Maintain recruiting database (LawCruit) including entry of resume data, OCI information, interview schedules, and reporting for lateral and summer associate candidates
  • Assist with conducting market research, pulling statistics, and analyzing data
  • Gain insights through using advanced Excel functions and data modeling to support team objectives
  • Assist with social media efforts, including providing support with LinkedIn and Instagram
  • Assist with Summer Program planning and implementation including preparation for program events
  • Process recruiting expenses, invoices, data clean up, and other administrative duties as requested
  • Additional projects assigned by the Legal Recruitment and Law School Relations teams, Managing Director, and various partners and Hiring Committee members
  • Provide administrative support as needed to the Legal Recruitment Team at large

The Firmwide Law School Relations (LSR) Co-op will support the firmwide Law School Relations team in all aspects of entry-level legal hiring including the On-Campus Interview (OCI) hiring season, Summer Associate program, relationships with law schools and student groups, and pipeline programming efforts. Also, the co-op will assist in market research and development and comprehensive data analysis to aid in strategic decision-making and firm initiatives. The co-op must have outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, strong computer and Microsoft Office skills (including Microsoft Excel), attention to detail, time management skills, and the ability to multi-task. The co-op will have the opportunity to build their professional network by meeting and working closely with the firm's lawyers and GO Team. The co-op may sit in either Goodwin’s Boston or Washington, DC offices.
