What you'll do
- Assist in the field preparation for TFC soccer and Argos football games, concerts and other events
- Run equipment; tractors, mowers, line trimmers, etc.
- Maintain landscaping around stadium and practice facility to the highest quality
- Assist in painting multiple types of professional athletic fields
- Assist in a year-long fertilizer/herbicide/pesticide program
- Assist in the equipment maintenance program
- Oversee small projects
- Lead groups on projects
- Other responsibilities as the need arises

- Diploma or degree in turfgrass management, agronomy, horticulture, plant and soil science, sports field management, or a related discipline strongly preferred
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in the turf industry
- Flexibility to work extended hours, including some nights and weekends and flexibility to work either location
- Strong interpersonal skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to lift to 50 pounds
Nice to have
- Full G license in good standing is an asset

Seed and grow within MLSE's Groundskeeping role!

Please note about this role:
- Location is at BMO Field and BMO Training Ground in Downsview
- This is a part-time contract of 30-40 hours per week (Mon-Fri, with an occasional weekend)
Job Posting Compensation Range/Rate:
$23.00/hr
