Forklift Operator

Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and dependable Forklift Operator to join our client's warehouse team. This is a Temporary to Permanent Role and pays $20.21 to start. The shift is from 12PM to 8PM Monday to Friday. During the training period the hours are 10AM to 6PM Monday to Friday. This position starts right away and requires a person with a forklift license for a sit down counter balance. This person will be driving a Sit Down Counter Balance Forklift that is electric. Priority is given to people with at least 3 years of experience. This role is essential for efficiently managing inventory, ensuring safe handling of materials, and maintaining smooth warehouse operations. This position offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment where safety, accuracy, and efficiency are paramount. Duties Safely operate forklifts to move materials throughout the warehouse Load and unload shipments with precision, ensuring proper handling of goods Pick and prepare orders accurately using warehouse management systems (WMS) Perform heavy lifting tasks as required, adhering to safety protocols Conduct routine inspections and basic maintenance on forklift equipment to ensure optimal operation Assist with inventory management by organizing stock and maintaining accurate records Support warehouse distribution activities by coordinating with team members for efficient workflow Utilize basic math skills for counting, measuring, and verifying quantities during order picking and packing processes Requirements Skills Proven experience operating forklifts, Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) for order processing and inventory control Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently Basic math skills for accurate order picking and inventory counts Knowledge of warehouse distribution procedures and safety standards Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team in a warehouse setting is essential Please send a resume as soon as possible as this position starts right away.
