Opportunity

This role is perhaps the most unique position in the entire company. You will have complete access to our CEO and his most important work. You will be involved in the most business critical projects and have great exposure to the senior leadership team. You will need to build trust/rapport with leadership early in order to be successful.

A strong candidate could develop quickly into a senior executive role here at Hook if they are reliable and demonstrate consistent performance. You will report to our VP of Operations who will facilitate your development in the role.

Responsibilities:

• Support our CEO: This is the most important part of this role. You will lead all operational and administrative support to our founder, including managing his schedule, preparing for meetings, and tracking progress on strategic goals ensuring action items are tracked and accomplished.

• Event Planning: Support the coordination of company events, off-sites, team-building activities, and investor meetings. We do some pretty cool trips as a team (e.g. we just came back from our company wide offsite held in Ibiza)

• Content Creation: Create and edit decks/documents for both internal and external stakeholders e.g. investor updates, team meeting presentations & customer event collateral

• Office Management: Assist with general office duties such as ordering supplies, managing office vendors, and ensuring the workplace runs smoothly.

• Recruitment & Talent: Support the end-to-end hiring process, from sourcing great candidates and building talent pipelines to coordinating interviews and supporting hiring managers throughout the process, ensuring every candidate has a smooth and engaging experience.

• Enhance Operational Efficiency: Help identify areas for process improvement and implement solutions that streamline operations, allowing us to scale effectively.

• Special Projects: Assist the founders with ad hoc projects that arise, which may involve conducting research, data collection, and helping solve operational issues.

• Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.

• Proactive problem solver: You have a knack for identifying challenges and turning them into opportunities. You spot issues before they become problems and work proactively to solve them.

• High attention to detail: You don’t skim over tasks, you ensure that work is completed in its entirety and no detail is overlooked

• Think like a founder: Working closely with our founder/CEO means thinking like him and anticipating needs or challenges that he will likely face day to day, week on week. If you have an entrepreneurial mindset already, you will be coming in with an advantage.

• Team Player: You enjoy collaborating with diverse teams and are happy to get stuck into projects regardless of area (e.g. marketing, product, operations)

• Discretion and professionalism: You’ll be responsible for handling the business's most sensitive projects therefore must be able to handle confidential information with a high level of integrity, consideration and respect.

• High energy and a positive attitude: You bring enthusiasm and positivity to your work and are eager to contribute to the company’s success.

Salary

💸 £45,000 - £65,000 (depending on experience)
