Freelance/Contract Scientific Business Analyst

Here at ProPharma we are continuing to expand our Digital Transformation group and we are now seeking a new member of the team based in commutable distance from Melbourne to work on a Hybrid basis.

In this newly created function, we are looking for a Freelancer/Contract Scientific Business Analyst who will be supporting a key life-sciences client on a full time basis. This individual needs to have a technical mindset and be able to work effectively with technology and scientific groups to reach a common goal.

The project will commence immediately; it offers full time hours and will run until the end of June 2027 but with a strong chance of progressing further.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical expertise on clients' global scientific platforms

• Gather requirements, develop process maps, and translate them into workflows

• Develop, implement, validate, and maintain scientific technology solutions

• Ensure alignment with global governance frameworks and best practices for systems

• Collaborate with internal and external developers for building and implementation phases.

• Design and deliver training materials and sessions to encourage user adoption and standardization.

Skills required

• Experience with scientific laboratory workflows in the life science space - understanding of challenges in the space and strategies to address them

• Experience in laboratory informatics business analysis

• Business analysis (requirements gathering and documentation)

• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• Strong stakeholder and change management

• Structured approach to problem-solving
