French Language Teacher in Pregny-Chambésy, Switzerland

Join the Global LT community and help provide language lessons to business professionals and their families worldwide. We are currently hiring a French Language Teacher (FLE) to provide hybrid (virtual + in-person) lessons to our client in Pregny-Chambésy.

Job Information:

• Ref. # 200315: 1 adult (female).

• Location: The student will alternate between face-to-face and virtual lessons. In-person lessons are to be held at the student's home near the Château Malvand, Pregny-Chambésy (1292).

• Preferred start date: ASAP

Details:

• Availability: Mondays between 4pm-5pm, Thursdays between 4pm-5pm, Fridays between 1pm-4pm.

• Lesson Frequency and Duration: 1 time per week, 60 minutes per session.

• Current French level: Complete beginner.

• Native language: English.
   
• Student's language needs and goals: She would like to learn enough to survive locally in the city. Day-to-day language to get around, get food, ask for help if needed, etc. She wants to focus on French for the workplace/business.

Responsibilities:

• Delivering tailored, dynamic, effective, and engaging lessons

• Developing curricula based on learners' proficiency level and desired outcomes

• Monitoring students' progress and guiding learners toward learning goals

• Communicating in an efficient, effective, and professional manner

Qualifications:

• Native or near-native written and spoken proficiency in French

• Degree or certification in language teaching, education, instructional design, writing, language, linguistics, second language acquisition, or related field

• Minimum of two years of French (FLE) teaching experience
