As a Front Office Intern, you are the first point of contact for our guests! You give them a warm welcome to the hotel and assist with check‑in. Thanks to you, our guests won’t miss a thing during their stay, and when they check out, they leave with a big smile on their face. During your internship, you will learn about a smoothly running Front Office department and everything that comes with it.

APOLLO HOTEL AMSTERDAM, A TRIBUTE PORTFOLIO HOTEL

Located on the Apollolaan in Amsterdam South, overlooking the intersection of five canals, you will find Apollo Hotel Amsterdam, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel. With its unique interior, thoughtful amenities and excellent city‑centre location, it is the perfect place to stay. Our hotel is within walking distance of numerous museums, parks and the Amsterdam RAI Convention Centre. Nearby, you will also find the Anne Frank House, the Rijksmuseum and Dam Square.

Guests can enjoy refined cuisine at The Living Room by Bodon and international favorites at The Harbour Club Amsterdam Zuid, the place to eat in Amsterdam. The hotel also offers various event possibilities, including a rooftop terrace and an impressive ballroom, all supported by professional catering.

For the ambitious hospitality professional of the future, the Tailor Made Traineeship (TMT) at Leonardo Hotels is the place to be! Do you see your internship as the beginning of your hospitality career? At Leonardo Hotels, your internship aligns with your interests, wishes, and talents. As a trainee—regardless of the hotel or department—you are automatically enrolled in the TMT program (www.werkenbijleonardohotels.nl/tmt).

You can experience multiple hotels and departments, attend expert sessions on topics such as Marketing and Finance, receive motivation and coaching from your personal coach, develop your leadership skills, and—perhaps most importantly—connect with all other interns through our TMT classes and social events!

WHAT DO YOU GET FROM US (BESIDES A GREAT TEAM OF COURSE)?

• As an MBO student, you receive an internship allowance of €750 gross per month (full‑time), consisting of €670 internship allowance and €80 expense allowance. We use variable payment periods of 4 or 5 weeks at a time, based on the number of days and hours worked. So one month you may receive a bit less and the next month a bit more.
