Functional Analyst HR

Full-Time  |  HR  |  Olathe, KS

SUMMARY

The Functional Analyst HR owns HRIS operations for the Americas and partners closely with the HR team and IT to roll out, integrate, and continuously improve our HRIS systems. This role translates HR process needs into practical, future-proof technical solutions and serves as the key point of contact for HRIS questions across the region.

The Functional Analyst HR also partners on developing and fine-tuning our global HRIS framework, tools, and processes, and acts as a key contact for HRIS matters worldwide.

YOUR ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

First-line support in the Americas (30% of your time):

  • Serve as the point of escalation for urgent first-line issues and support general HR processes as needed.
  • Support HR and business reporting requests using foundational data analytics skills.
  • Provide technical support, troubleshooting, and guidance to the internal HR team and our internal and external IT partners, serving as the key liaison between HR, IT, external vendors, and other stakeholders on HRIS design, related processes, and implementation projects.

Global projects (70% of your time):

  • Support the implementation of global projects, changes, software, and applications (Workday and UKG) based on long-term HR strategy and technology needs.
  • Support the optimal function of our global HRIS systems and related processes, tools, and procedures.
  • Collaborate on identifying and analyzing improvement opportunities and enhancements to existing information services, systems, and databases.
  • Ensure system compliance with data security and privacy requirements.
  • Maintain knowledge of trends and developments in data management and security, HR technology, and HRIS applications.
  • Elicit and document business and functional requirements to produce clear, concise functional specifications.
  • Collect requirements, understand HR processes, and specify technical processes based on those requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate corporate needs into functional requirements.
  • Support the product owner and product manager by following up on and guiding the development and implementation of new or modified features.
  • Represent local challenges and ensure system changes don't adversely impact local HR processes.

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor's degree in IT or HR Management required, or equivalent experience and certifications.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience within an HRIS environment; experience with Workday and UKG strongly preferred.
  • Working knowledge of HR policies and procedures, with the ability to ensure HRIS meets organizational needs and goals.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders, internal and external, while maintaining a structured, organized approach.

This role is based in our Olathe, KS location and will require some occasional travel to our headquarters in Belgium.
