Fund Order Services Project Team Manager, Vice President

Fund Order Services is looking for an experienced leader to help develop the product through its next phase of growth. This role will be responsible for managing the implementation of the Fund Order Services platform, onboarding new clients, migrating existing business and ensuring a consistent global operating model.

With a strong technical background, the successful candidate will demonstrate a successful track-record of delivering complex real-time Investment Fund trading solutions where attention to detail and intellectual curiosity are paramount.

What you will be responsible for

As Fund Order Services Vice President you will

• Manage a global project team responsible for designing and implementing a new global operating model, including client onboarding, migrations of existing business, testing, and vendor oversight.

• Manage, allocate, and prioritize available project team resources against project and client priorities

• Possess a deep understanding of existing Fund Order Services infrastructure and business processes and how they will transform into a tightly controlled, highly automated future state model

• Continuously learn about new technologies and drive adoption across Fund Order Services

• Drive operational change and ensure successful client implementation, with documented Standard Operating Procedures and controls.

• Conduct detailed front-to-back analysis of trading & settlement workflows for a wide range of Investment Funds

• Deliver high-quality, detailed technical documentation, project plans, and business requirements in conjunction with technical & business teams including workflow diagrams an mapping of system messages.

• Ensure effective and robust testing of new functionality with documented results.

• Provide end to end support for business and system process where required.

• Identify trending of root causes of issues, highlight and facilitate actions to resolve.

• Participate in on-going training and development.

• Provide coaching and development opportunities to staff,

• Make effective recommendations to hire, discipline, control work and terminate employment.

• Make effective recommendations for promotions, salary increases and bonuses.

• Work autonomously with confidence in a fast-moving, complex technical environment.

• Build relationships with colleagues across multiple functional groups.

• Act as an escalation point to facilitate communication to and managing stakeholders across multiple business units and outside vendors.

• Support other projects or tasks as assigned

Education & Preferred Qualifications

• Successfully completed degree in economic or business sciences

• 10+ years of experience within financial services and/or technical business analyst roles

• Technically confident; power user of Excel

• Excellent English language skills

Note: The role requires a minimum of 3 days per week working from the office

Minimum Salary:​

zł282,000 Annual

The minimum salary quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate ultimately works outside of this primary location, the applicable minimum salary may differ.​

Salary will be determined based on factors such as the position, type of work performed, individual skills, job description, working hours, diligence, initiative, self-management, length of employment, availability, and the quantity and quality of work delivered, as well as other objective and non-discriminatory criteria relevant to State Street employees.​

In addition to salary, employees are eligible to be considered for discretionary annual performance-based awards.​
