  • Monitor product quality and process parameters to ensure fasteners meet Ramset specifications and customer requirements.
  • Perform equipment start-up, shutdown, routine adjustments, preventive maintenance, and minor repairs to support uninterrupted operations.
  • Treat wastewater and handle chemicals in accordance with company procedures and all applicable state and federal regulations.
  • Maintain accurate production records, inventory transactions, load documentation, and material usage information.
  • Support a safe, team-oriented manufacturing environment by operating forklifts, training team members as needed, and participating in continuous improvement efforts.
  • Additional Duties as assigned.

Why this Role Matters 

The Heat Treat / Plating / Waste Treatment Technician at ITW Ramset, a division of ITW, plays a critical role in ensuring the safe, efficient, and compliant operation of our heat treat, plating, and wastewater treatment processes. In this role, you help deliver high-quality fasteners that meet customer specifications while supporting environmental compliance, operational uptime, and workplace safety. Success in this position means consistently producing quality parts, maintaining reliable equipment operation, and supporting continuous production needs. 

What You Will Do 

  • Operate heat treat furnaces, plating systems, black dip equipment, wastewater treatment systems, evaporators, and related production equipment.

Compensation Information:

Compensation is competitive and based on experience and qualifications. The starting pay for this position is $22.00 per hour. Initial training may be conducted on the day shift. Upon successful completion of training and transition to the night shift, employees will receive an additional $2.00 per hour shift differential.
