About the role

We’re looking for an experienced Gas Fitter with hands-on LPG experience to join Origin’s LPG team based in Somerton.

This is a practical, field-based role where you’ll install, service and maintain LPG cylinders, equipment and gas appliances across residential and commercial customer sites.

Previous hands-on LPG experience is essential for this position.

What you’ll do

• Deliver, remove, replace and install LPG cylinders at customer sites
• Complete new LPG installations in line with required codes and standards
• Service, maintain and repair LPG equipment and gas appliances
• Inspect existing LPG installations and identify compliance or safety issues
• Complete all work safely and in accordance with Origin’s permit to work requirements
• Maintain accurate records and provide customers with advice on LPG equipment and installations
  
  

What you’ll bring

• Trade qualified Gas Fitter with a full Victorian Type A Gas Fitting Licence
• Demonstrated hands-on LPG experience – essential
• Experience installing, servicing and maintaining LPG systems and appliances
• Comfortable with the physical requirements of handling, delivering and installing LPG cylinders
• MR licence, or willingness and ability to obtain one
• Previous domestic gas fitting experience preferred
• Plumbing/Draining or Electrical licences desirable
