What you’ll do

In this role, you’ll play a key role in building and deploying scalable AI solutions. You'll work in a dynamic team to modernize legacy systems, leverage generative AI and deliver impactful solutions aligned with our goal of enhancing customer banking relationships.

You’ll also be responsible for:

• Build and deploy AL/ML models for data extraction, natural language processing, predictive analysis and automation
• Use GenAI tools to enhance workflows for client-facing and internal business functions
• Collaborate with AI leads and stakeholders to align solutions with business objectives
• Conduct AI R&D to optimize performance and scalability

The skills you’ll need

We’re looking for someone with strong communication skills and the ability to proactively engage and manage a wide range of stakeholders. You’ll have extensive experience working in a governed, and regulatory environment.

You’ll also need:

• 70% hands-on coding and 30% leadership/AI transformation within the banking domain
• Proven experience building AI pipelines, from data ingestion to production deployment and monitoring
• Ability to optimise models for latency, scalability and cost efficiency
• Proficiency in Python, Java or other relevant programming languages with hands-on experience in NLP, Retrieval-Augment Generation (RAG) and AI driven workflows
• Familiarity with banking workflows, compliance, and regulatory requirements (e.g., KYC, AML) is preferred
• Understanding of model monitoring, governance, and regulatory practices in AI
