Shift: 2nd Shift – 3:30 PM to 12:00 AM
Starting Pay: minimum of $18.27/hour + $1.00/hour 2nd shift premium + opportunity for incentive pay

About the Position

Associated Spring is looking for dependable and motivated individuals to join our manufacturing team as General Laborers.

This is an entry-level manufacturing position that supports production throughout the facility. General Labor employees may work in different departments and perform a variety of production and manufacturing tasks based on business needs.

No two days may look exactly the same. You may assist with machine operation, sorting and inspecting parts, bench work, packaging, or other production activities. Employees will receive training for the work they are assigned and will work closely with supervisors, department leaders, setup employees, and other members of the production team.

What You’ll Do

Responsibilities may include:

• Operate assigned production equipment such as power presses, kick presses, heat-set presses, and other manufacturing equipment after proper training.
• Perform sorting, inspection, bench work, packaging, and other general production duties.
• Load and unload parts or materials from production equipment.
• Follow established work instructions, production procedures, and safety requirements.
• Inspect finished parts using assigned gauges, visual inspection standards, or other basic measuring methods.
• Identify and report quality concerns, equipment issues, or unsafe conditions to the appropriate supervisor or setup employee.
• Work with setup personnel when machine setups or major adjustments are required.
• Maintain required production and quality standards.
• Move between departments or job assignments based on production needs.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
• Follow all company safety, quality, attendance, and workplace policies.
• Perform other general manufacturing duties as assigned.

• Previous manufacturing experience is helpful but not required.
• Ability and willingness to learn different manufacturing jobs and processes.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.

• Ability to work safely in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks while maintaining quality and attention to detail.
• Willingness to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to stand and work for extended periods during the shift.
• Ability to perform the physical requirements of the position with or without reasonable accommodation.

Schedule & Pay

2nd Shift: 3:30 PM – 12:00 AM- Training on 1st shift

Starting Pay: minimum of $18.27 per hour paid weekly
2nd Shift Premium: Additional $1.00 per hour
Incentive Pay: Additional earning opportunities may be available based on applicable incentive programs.
