This private billing practice is experiencing significant demand for skin cancer and dermatology services, with existing clinicians consistently booked well in advance. The practice operates from a modern, purpose-built facility and provides comprehensive general practice, skin cancer and dermatology services.
The practice offers bright consulting rooms, dedicated procedure facilities, excellent nursing support and efficient administrative systems. Clinicians are supported by a collaborative multidisciplinary team and have flexibility to develop their own areas of clinical interest.
Opportunities are available to participate in teaching, research and registrar supervision, with ongoing professional development and clinical support provided.

Position Description
An opportunity exists for a suitably qualified General Practitioner with a special interest in Skin Cancer Medicine and/or Dermatology to join an established and growing service in Cairns.
The successful candidate will benefit from strong existing patient demand for skin checks, dermatology consultations and procedural work. The role can be tailored to focus predominantly on skin cancer and dermatology or combined with broader general practice services.
The practice offers flexibility in structuring clinical sessions and supports clinicians wishing to further develop their skills and scope of practice.

Position Requirements

• Current Specialist Registration with AHPRA as a General Practitioner

• Demonstrated interest and experience in skin cancer medicine, dermatology and procedural medicine

• Skin cancer qualifications or fellowship training highly regarded

• Commitment to providing high-quality patient care

• Eligibility to work in Australia
