What you'll do
- Counseling and case management of prenatal, medical genetic and metabolic genetic patients.
- Serves as a liaison between the patient, primary care provider, community agencies and the department, eliciting and providing medical and genetic information in collaboration with the Geneticist and provide psychosocial support.
- Works with Hospital leadership to ensure operational effectiveness and market development.
- Travel is required to satellite clinics.

Job Summary:

Education
- Master's Degree Genetic Counseling (required)
Licenses and Certifications
- ABGC - Board Certified Status - ABGC - American Board Genetic Counselors (required) Or
Work Experience
- Minimum one (1) year Applicable medical genetics setting and/or area of focus (i.e. lab or neurology) (preferred)
