Position Details:

 MUFG is embarking on a multi-year core banking transformation journey to replace legacy core banking platform with modern technology platforms. We are seeking highly motivated candidates with strong and balanced experience in a wide array of Core Banking product development and support in Bangalore, India.

Successful candidates will be part of a growing and dynamic regional team in charge of developing and maintaining Core Banking products for multiple MUFG offices over the world.

Job Requirements:

Functional Requirement:

• 8-10 years of Testing Experience with GPP (Payment systems and Core Banking applications)
• Good in-depth payments functional knowledge specific to GPP-SP platform for International Payments(High value payments) & Domestic Payments with hands on experience in payment systems and exposure to Payments Hub, ACH, Real-Time Payments, FX, Clearing and Settlement, Automated clearing house programs and channels.
• Working knowledge around Payment schemes – SWIFT MT, ISO20022 knowledge to query database and familiarity with Oracle DB concepts and GPP Fusion database structure.
• AI Testing Knowledge & Experience in utilising AI for project testing purposes.
• Requires strong stakeholder management skills to collaborate seamlessly with business users, technology partners, interface application users and global vendor/product teams.
• Strong problem-solving skillset with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects/tasks with flexibility.
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate across various global delivery teams and stakeholders.

Technical Skills:

• Complete SDLC understanding of testing life cycle with Waterfall and Agile metho
• Work across the entire project cycle.
• Ability to prepare Test Plan and lead module level planning and execution of test scripts with the test team.
• Review and maintain all types of Test Artefacts.
• Ability to manage RTM, review the defects raised by test team and have discussions in triage calls regularly with the dev and project teams effectively using appropriate defect management tools.
• Experience in test automation. E.g., development and execution of automated test scripts using Selenium.
• Hands-on experience with JIRA, Jenkins, Selenium etc.
• Experience in Performance testing, Load testing etc.

Good to Have Skills:

• Knowledge of Japanese local clearing(BOJ-NET)
• Japanese communication
• Knowledge of APAC countries domestic clearing (SG,AU,NZ,TW,VT&ID)
• Experience in testing in MUFG environment or any other financial institution’s banking systems
• Experience in working with large global bank environments.

Education level:

Engineering Degree (Bachelor’s /Master’s) in computing or relevant field.

Ex: B.Tech /B.E or M.Sc (Computers), MCA
