About this role

Job Purpose

Join the Technical Services Regulatory Team within Rentokil Initial’s Marketing and Innovation (M&I) Function. In this role, you will support technical and commercial compliance for chemical products and services across Rentokil Initial’s global business activities. Your primary focus will be to maintain chemical regulatory compliance, execute swift corrective actions when non-compliance is identified, ensure accurate product safety and labelling, and support product registration and launch workflows across international markets.

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities

  • Regulatory Risk & Compliance Management: Assist in protecting Rentokil Initial from commercial and technical risks associated with national and international chemical regulations and directives.
  • Corrective Action Execution: Help implement urgent corrective actions across Rentokil Initial businesses to mitigate identified regulatory risk exposures promptly.
  • Technical & Documentation Support: Draft and review Safety Data Sheets (SDS), product classifications, product labels, and packaging specifications in compliance with global standards.
  • Product Registration & Market Entry: Support the end-to-end process of obtaining, updating, and maintaining chemical product registrations to enable smooth market introduction of new products.
  • Database & Systems Management: Maintain accurate, up-to-date product safety records and compliance data within company regulatory systems and software (e.g., LISAM).

Requirements

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree (BSc) or higher in Chemistry, Toxicology, Environmental Science, or a related scientific discipline.
  • Regulatory Knowledge: Foundational understanding of global chemical regulatory frameworks covering registration, hazard classification, chemical safety, transport (ADR/IMDG/IATA), and waste disposal.
  • Technical Systems: Proficiency with chemical regulatory software and databases (experience with LISAM SDS software is highly desirable).
  • Data Analysis & Quality Focus: Strong analytical skills, meticulous attention to detail, and a structured, process-driven approach to complex problem-solving.
  • Proficiency in additional European languages is a strong advantage.
