Full description from employer

Role: Graduate Technology & AI Engineer
Location: Orwell, Cambridge
Salary: £30,000 – £36,000
Permanent Position

Are you a Computer Science, Software Engineering, AI or Technology graduate with a genuine passion for AI and emerging technology?

At Accora, we're looking for a bright, ambitious graduate to join our growing team and help us make even better use of AI, software and technology across our business.

This is a permanent position with significant opportunity to learn, develop and grow as our technology capabilities continue to expand.

Please note: You MUST already be eligible to work in the UK. We are unable to offer visa sponsorship for this position.

The Role

Accora is already investing heavily in AI and technology, and we want to continue developing how we use them throughout our business.

You'll have the opportunity to work on real projects and genuine business problems from day one, developing both your technical and commercial skills along the way.

As our technology capabilities continue to grow, there will be excellent long-term career progression and development opportunities for the right person.

You'll work across Accora to understand how different areas of our business operate, identify opportunities for improvement and explore how technology can provide better solutions.

This could include:

  • Developing and improving internal software and applications
  • Exploring new ways to utilise AI across the business
  • Automating manual processes
  • Improving systems, integrations and reporting
  • Identifying technology-led improvements
  • Developing and testing new ideas and solutions
  • Supporting wider technology projects

The key is understanding why an improvement is needed, not just the technology behind it.

You'll need to understand how people work day-to-day, recognise problems and then help develop practical solutions that improve efficiency and support our continued growth.

Requirements

What We're Looking For

We're looking for potential, curiosity and attitude, rather than someone with years of experience.

  • Genuine interest in AI, software and emerging technologies
  • Some programming/software development experience
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • A proactive and curious approach
  • Commercial awareness and an interest in how businesses operate
  • Confidence to ask questions, contribute ideas and get stuck in
  • Full eligibility to work in the UK without requiring sponsorship

Personal software projects, experimenting with AI or developing your own applications would be particularly interesting.

Benefits

What's On Offer

  • £30,000 – £36,000 depending on experience
  • Excellent long-term career progression
  • Extensive training and development
  • Opportunity to develop your skills across AI, software and emerging technologies
  • Good holiday allowance + public holidays
  • Join a growing business investing heavily in AI and technology
  • Work on real projects that have a genuine impact across the business

This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious technology graduate who wants to take their first step into industry, work on real-world AI and software projects and become a key part of Accora's growing technology capabilities.

If you're a technology-focused graduate looking for an opportunity where you can build, experiment, solve problems and have a genuine impact on a growing business, we'd love to hear from you.
