What you'll do
- Assist line crews and equipment operators with daily tasks, including digging trenches, moving materials, and preparing work sites.
- Load and unload trucks with tools, equipment, and materials such as poles, wire, and conduits.
- Operate hand and power tools safely and effectively under supervision.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring tools and equipment are properly stored and maintained.
- Perform basic flagging duties to direct traffic and ensure public and crew safety.
- Follow all safety protocols, company policies, and OSHA regulations.
- Communicate effectively with crew members and supervisors.
- Perform other general labor duties as assigned.
