  Primary Responsibilities

  The Guard Shack maintains a safe and secure environment for customers and employees by monitoring KeHE facilities.

   

   

  • Monday -Friday
  • 7:00PM -3:00PM

   

   

  Essential Functions

  • Secures premises and personnel by monitoring access points; permitting entry to employees and preventing the entry of unauthorized people.
  • Controls traffic by directing drivers.
  • Completes reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities; interviewing witnesses; obtaining signatures.
  • Maintains organization's stability and reputation by complying with legal requirements.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
  • To maintain a log book with details of the names, purpose of visit, and entry and exit times of each and every individual who enters the premises.
  • To report all the suspicious acts happening in the premises to the local police.
  • To direct vehicles in and around the building and to make sure that all the vehicles are safe, while inside the premises.
  • Other duties may be assigned, as needed or warranted, by management.

  Minimum Requirements, Qualifications, Additional Skills, Aptitude

  • High School Diploma or GED required.

  Qualifications / Additional Skills / Aptitude:

  • Prior security experience is preferred
  • Takes initiative, detail oriented, and works well independently.
  • Good communication skills
  • Politeness and courteousness
  • Ability to handle and resolve conflicts
  • Attention to detail
