  • Manage department staffing issues, including call-offs, lateness, shift coverage, and after-hours operational concerns.
  • Review and approve weekly payroll for all Guest Services employees.

  • Foster employee engagement, team morale, recognition, and workplace culture.

  • Previous experience working with law enforcement required.

Summary

Legends Global, a leader in managing public assembly facilities, has an excellent and immediate opening for a Guest Services Manager. Under the Director of Guest Services, the Guest Services Manager is responsible for overseeing the staff and operations of the Salt Palace Convention Center’s Guest Services department, which includes information booths, wayfinding, safety, security, and interacting with law enforcement.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities.

  • Operations & Staffing
    • Manage department staffing issues, including call-offs, lateness, shift coverage, and after-hours operational concerns.
    • Review and approve weekly payroll for all Guest Services employees.
    • Oversee office, booth, and dock staffing schedules to ensure appropriate coverage.
    • Conduct operational oversight across all shifts and venues.
  • Incident & Event Management
    • Review daily reports and ensure appropriate follow-up through Momentus.
    • Coordinate incident follow-up with Salt Lake City Police Department as needed.

  • Safety & Public Safety Coordination

Experience & Knowledge

  • Prior supervisory experience necessary.

Salary: $70,000-$80,000 per year, depending on experience.
