Position Type: Contract Instructor
Position Summary
Provides professional youth gymnastics instruction for participants ages 18 months to 18 years. Conducts structured classes in accordance with Youth Programs (YP) requirements, ensures a safe training environment, and maintains compliance with all certification, background check, and training requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Instruct youth in gymnastics fundamentals, skill development, safety techniques, and injury prevention.
Adapt instruction to varying age groups and skill levels.
Maintain discipline and order during classes.
Ensure equipment is properly set up, cleaned, and secured after use.
Maintain required certifications and complete all mandated background checks and YP training.
Communicate effectively in English with youth, parents, and YP staff.
Submit proof of services rendered and comply with invoicing requirements.
Minimum Qualifications
Minimum 3 years instructional experience (or combination of education and experience).
Recognized gymnastics certification (e.g., USA Gymnastics, FIG, DTB, etc.).
Current CPR/AED and First Aid certification (Adult & Pediatric).
Favorable background check in accordance with DoD/AFI requirements.
Minimum age 18.
