HOME CARE AND HOME CARE – BG SUPPLY CHAIN
The Home Care (HC) Business Group (BG) is a EUR 6.5b turnover (TO) business that accounts for a total tonnage of 6 m tons. It has the highest exposure to emerging markets, contributing 80% of its TO. Home Care - Supply chain involves 21 manufacturing locations while supplying its products to above 40 countries.

JOB PURPOSE
Provide Expertise and next level packing machinery technology solutions for Home Care products particularly in Liquids packing. Lead new packing solutions for packing to be landed for Innovations, improved Net Productivity and Capex Efficiency in Asia.

Manin Responsibilities:

•Responsible for providing expertise for packing solutions for HC Liquids
•Responsible for developing complex innovation solutions for HC Liquids packing.
•Responsible for developing new Capex efficient partners for HC Liquids packing solutions.
•Responsible for providing packing solutions which significantly improve Net Productivity.
•Responsible for transferring expertise on new rigids packing solutions to concerned Business unit Supply Chain or factory.
•Develop a strong understanding of Home Care Supply Chain objectives and drive machinery solutions that support packing quality, net productivity, and capital efficiency.
•Become the packaging machinery expert, building strategic relationships with OEM suppliers, identifying emerging capex efficient technologies, and partnering with Procurement on supplier selection and negotiations.
•Analyse and improve packing line performance through increased output, efficiency, automation, and waste reduction.
•Benchmark internal and external packaging operations to identify and implement best practices in machinery and automation.
•Lead the evaluation and deployment of new technologies in order to support innovation, reduce cost per tonne (CPT), or increase manufacturing capacity by working with Business Units and Site Engineering teams following the EEM process.
•Partner with R&D Packaging to ensure new packaging formats and materials are designed for efficient manufacture, scalability, and supply chain performance.

Experiences & Qualifications
•Qualification of Mechanical or Packing Engineering
•Experience of packing engineering in a large-scale consumer goods factory.
•Experience of Packing Engineer on Rigids Liquid packing lines.
•Experience of landing new innovation and Technology with high packing complexity.
•Experience of connecting with external packing machine suppliers in a central technology role in a Business unit.
•Experience of a new packing technology development.
•Clarity of Thought to understand a problem or situation
•Objective and Sharp analytical skills to analyse various aspects of a situation.
•Problem solving skills to break down complex problem to analyse.
•Practical Creativity to think out of box solutions to new solutions.
