Lead negotiations with pharmaceutical companies, suppliers and other strategic partners to improve our economics and build sustainable relationships.
  • Own important cross-functional problems. Take responsibility for commercial questions that don’t sit neatly within one team. Work across functions to diagnose the problem, determine what needs to be done and drive it through to resolution.

About Eucalyptus

We're on a mission to make good health last a lifetime. More than 1 billion people live with obesity worldwide, driving preventable chronic conditions. We're here to build better long-term care.

Eucalyptus is now part of Hims & Hers, the global leader in personalised health and wellness.

Euc is the company behind Juniper, one of the world's largest weight-management programs combining GLP-1 medication with personalised nutrition, movement support, and clinician-led care from prescribers, nurses, health coaches, pharmacists, and dietitians. Our published clinical research shows that our combined clinical and behavioural approach helps patients lose significantly more weight during their treatment with Juniper by four times.

Our Growth Story:

  • Supporting patients living with obesity across our 5 markets
  • Received selective NICE endorsement to provide services to the NHS
  • Tailored our offering to thousands of patients in Australia, the UK, Germany, Japan and Canada.

About the Role

The Head of Commercial will be a senior member of the Australian team, reporting to the GM Australia and working closely with leaders across Growth, Product, Operations, Clinical and Finance. You’ll own the commercial view of Hims & Hers Australia, using it to determine where we invest, what we change and how we grow.

This is broader than a traditional finance role. Alongside owning our commercial models, planning and forecasting, you’ll tackle questions spanning new treatments, pricing, retention, partnerships and unit economics. You’ll form clear recommendations, work with teams to put them into practice and track whether they deliver the expected result.

What You’ll Be Responsible For

  • Own our commercial performance and reporting. Build and maintain a clear view of performance across revenue, acquisition, retention, gross margin and contribution margin. Identify the underlying drivers, surface risks and opportunities, and ensure the Australian leadership team understands the performance of the business.
  • Lead planning and forecasting. Own the Australian business model and lead annual planning, reforecasting and scenario modelling in partnership with Group Finance and FP&A. Help leaders understand the commercial implications of different choices and maintain a realistic view of expected performance.

Build the commercial case for major decisions and make clear recommendations about where we should deploy resources.
  • Own our unit economics. Develop and maintain a detailed view of customer acquisition cost, lifetime value, payback, retention and margins across products, conditions and patient cohorts. Establish clear economic parameters and help teams understand the levers they can influence.
  • Improve growth and profitability. Identify opportunities across pricing, packaging, retention, product mix and margin. Partner with Growth to set acquisition targets, understand marginal returns on marketing investment and allocate spend. Work with functional owners to implement opportunities and track whether the expected value is realised.
  • Evaluate new opportunities and partnerships. Assess new treatments, conditions, partnerships and business models, and recommend whether and how we should proceed.
