Some of the amazing things you’ll be involved in

Lead, coach and develop a high-performing team of Risk Business Partners:

  • Establish consistent risk partnering standards and methodologies.

  • Build technical and commercial capability within the team.

  • Develop and execute the strategy and roadmap for the Risk Business Partner function, ensuring alignment with Group Risk and organisational objectives.

Enterprise Risk Oversight 

  • Oversee the effectiveness and consistency of risk management across portfolios.

  • Review Business Unit risk profiles to identify enterprise-wide trends.

  • Act as the senior escalation point for significant or complex risk matters requiring independent review or executive consideration.

Assurance and Controls

  • Oversee the consistent execution of control assessments.

  • Monitor the effectiveness of control environments and risk mitigation.

  • Support effective management of incidents, breaches, and audit findings.

Risk Reporting and Governance 

  • Ensure Leadership receives meaningful and data-driven risk reporting.

  • Provide strategic advice and independent challenge to Executive Leadership on significant business initiatives, strategic decisions and emerging risks.

Risk Culture and Capability

  • Champion a strong risk-aware culture across the organisation.

  • Promote accountability for risk ownership across the first line.

  • Support adoption of data-driven approaches to risk management.

  • Support adoption of technology, automation and data-driven approaches to risk management.

What you will bring

  • Proven and extensive experience in enterprise, operational, or technology risk management, with a proven track record of building and leading high-performing teams.

  • Strong leadership capability, including coaching, mentoring, and driving positive cultural and organizational change.

  • Deep understanding of Enterprise Risk Management, the Three Lines Model, governance frameworks, and GRC platforms.

  • Expert knowledge of technology risk, cyber security, AI risk, data governance, and operational resilience.

  • Exceptional stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence, coach, and constructively challenge senior executives.

  • Strong commercial acumen and strategic thinking, with the ability to balance risk objectives with business outcomes.

  • Excellent communication skills, with extensive experience preparing and presenting complex risk matters to Board and Executive levels.

  • Relevant professional qualifications (e.g., CISA, CRISC, CISM, CISSP) and/or tertiary qualifications in Business, Risk, or Technology.
