About this role

Giacom are the only provider of Comms, Cloud, Hardware and Billing all through one platform.

Our platform connects technology resellers and service providers to the best IT, Comms and Cloud products and services so they can create brilliant technology solutions for UK businesses.

We're looking for an experienced and proactive Health & Safety Manager to lead the continued development of our health and safety framework.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing business where strong foundations are already in place and take ownership of the next phase of our Health & Safety journey. Working closely with stakeholders across the organisation, you'll enhance our existing framework, strengthen governance and reporting, and ensure our approach remains practical, proportionate and aligned to the needs of the business.

This isn't a role within a high-hazard environment. Instead, it's an opportunity for someone who enjoys creating structure, influencing change and embedding best practice through collaboration. You'll play a key role in providing confidence and assurance to senior leadership while helping to build a positive Health & Safety culture across Giacom.

What you'll be doing

  • Lead the development and continuous improvement of our Health & Safety Management System.

  • Drive governance, compliance and risk management activities across the organisation.

  • Own and relaunch our DSE compliance programme, supporting our hybrid workforce.

  • Develop meaningful reporting, KPIs and assurance measures for senior leadership.

  • Manage audits, investigations and improvement actions, ensuring accountability across the business.

  • Partner with HR, Facilities and business leaders to embed a positive and proportionate Health & Safety culture.

  • Deliver guidance, training and awareness initiatives that support employee wellbeing and compliance.

Your Experience

  • NEBOSH General Certificate (minimum requirement).

  • Experience in a Health & Safety Manager or similar role.

  • Proven experience developing and embedding Health & Safety Management Systems.

  • Strong understanding of UK Health & Safety legislation and compliance requirements.

  • Experience conducting risk assessments, managing DSE programmes and implementing effective controls.

  • Strong governance, audit and compliance experience.

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at all levels, including senior leadership.

What's in it for you?

  • Hybrid role.

  • Investment in your future career with a variety of learning and development opportunities.

  • No dress code - embrace the freedom to bring your whole self to work.

  • 25 days annual leave, plus bank holidays. You'll even get your birthday off, too!

  • A pension plan for your future.

  • Complimentary refreshments in all our offices.
